Gold Medal-Winning Bourbon Available in the Fair’s Speakeasy “The Secret Stache”

San Diego, CA – June 6, 2023 – Cask & Coast Spirits Co. is proud to announce that its inaugural batch of premium gold medal-winning California bourbon is a featured spirit at the San Diego County Fair’s speakeasy “The Secret Stache.” Cask & Coast will be highlighted in the speakeasy’s Maple Bacon Old Fashioned cocktail when the Fair opens on June 7th.

Cask & Coast was the only Southern California bourbon to receive a gold medal at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition last month and also earned gold at the San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge earlier this year.

“We are thrilled to be the key component of a delicious featured cocktail at the San Diego County Fair,” said co-founder and CEO Mark Kersey. “The Fair has been a staple of summertime in San Diego for generations and it’s a tremendous honor for us to be part of such a well-known annual tradition.”

Cask & Coast’s four-grain bourbon is distilled and matured in the Midwest in new American oak barrels then blended in San Diego before being finished for a year in California Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc wine casks from local vineyards. The bourbon is aged for a total of 5 years and is bottled at a hearty 102 proof.
