Cask & Coast Premium California Bourbon Releases Batch 2

Triple Gold Medal-Winning Bourbon Available Online and in Retail

San Diego, CA – September 18, 2023 – Fresh off its third gold medal of the year at the New York World Spirits Competition, Cask & Coast Spirits Co. has launched Batch 2 of its core expression premium reserve Cabernet cask-finished California bourbon.

Cask & Coast’s proprietary four-grain bourbon is distilled and matured in Indiana in new American oak barrels then blended in San Diego before being finished for 6 months in California Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc wine casks from local vineyards. The bourbon is aged for a total of 4.5 years and is bottled at a hearty 102 proof.

Cask & Coast California Bourbon generates tasting notes of vanilla, almond, cocoa, and candied pecans along with hints of cinnamon, allspice, and orange zest. Our blend was masterfully crafted by our own certified Sommelier to perfect and balance the contributions from each of the grains to create a complex profile that can be enjoyed with every sip.

In addition to New York, Cask & Coast was also awarded gold medals this year at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge.
