San Diego, CA – March 24 – Cask & Coast Spirits Co. announced today that its inaugural batch of premium California bourbon is now available in more than a dozen retail stores and bars throughout San Diego County.

“Cask & Coast is San Diego’s Bourbon, and we greatly appreciate our partnership with retail stores, bars and restaurants throughout San Diego,” said co-founder Richard Montaño. “We’re so grateful for the support we’ve received in our first five months and it’s fantastic to see our friends around town be able to purchase our award-winning California bourbon at so many locations.”

Cask & Coast’s four-grain bourbon is distilled and matured in the Midwest in new American oak barrels then blended in San Diego before being finished for a year in California Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc wine casks from local vineyards. The bourbon is aged for a total of 5 years and is bottled at a hearty 102 proof.
